Aluminum: 5.5 – 6.75% Nitrogen (Maximum): 0.05%
Vanadium: 3.5 – 4.5% Hydrogen (Maximum): 0.0125%
Iron (Maximum): 0.30% Other Elements (Maximum, Each): 0.10%
Oxygen (Maximum): 0.20% Other Elements (Total): 0.40%
Carbon (Maximum): 0.08% Titanium: Balance

 

Tensile Properties (Minimums)*
Tensile: 130 – 134 ksi Elongation: 8 – 10%
Yield: 120 – 126 ksi

*Tensile property requirements vary based on orientation, section thickness, and cognizant engineering organization requirements.
