Aluminum: 5-6% Carbon (Maximum): 0.05%
Vanadium: 5-6% Nitrogen (Maximum): 0.04%
Iron: 0.35-1.0% Hydrogen (Maximum): 0.015%
Tin: 1.5-2.5% Yttrium (Maximum): 0.005%
Oxygen (Maximum): 0.20% Other Elements (Total): 0.30%
Copper: 0.35-1.0% Titanium: Balance

 

Tensile Properties (Minimums)*
Tensile: 145-155 ksi Elongation: 6 – 10%
Yield: 135-170 ksi

*Tensile property requirements vary based on orientation, section thickness, and cognizant engineering organization requirements.
